Say Taco recently featured on 352today!

After new owners took over in October 2024, they moved away from the traditional Mexican motif and counter-service model, introducing a full-service restaurant and bar with inventive tacos, premium tequila, country music and an inviting, social vibe. Set in a brick building with both indoor seating and a courtyard, the venue has become a go-to spot for everything from laid-back lunches to nights out with friends, complete with live music and special events.

Their motto, “We’re saying adios to Sayulita and hello to Say Taco!”, sums up a larger shift in identity: the emphasis is now on atmosphere and community as much as on the food itself. Today, Say Taco is equal parts downtown eatery, tequila bar and social hangout. Tacos still take center stage, but the music, drinks, events and lively downtown setting turn every visit into an experience. The refreshed concept has boosted business, earned enthusiastic reviews and secured Say Taco’s place as a staple of downtown Ocala.
